Our Staff

Three Islands Veterinary Service - Bobcaygeon, ON - Our practice manager Sheryl

Sheryl with her Viszla ‘Mya’ and her Canadian & American Champion Dobermans Deva and Sam.

Sheryl has been a huge part of the team at Three Islands Veterinary Services since 1996. She is one of those rare people who can do almost anything around the hospital from reception to accounting to technician duties and even computer repair. Perhaps Sheryl’s greatest talent is as a dental and surgical assistant. She lives with her husband Dave on a farm in Coboconk where they have Horses, Scottish Hyland Cattle, Chickens and a Donkey. Sheryl loves taking her Dobermans to dog shows and doing extreme outdoor sports with them like skijoring.

Michelle and her Hungarian Vizsla, ‘Crush’. Michelle graduated as a veterinary technician from St. Lawrence College in 1996. She has been with us at Three Islands Veterinary Services since 2009 and is very knowledgeable and is talented at what she does. In addition to lab work, x-rays, IV catheters, surgery assistance and dental hygiene, Michelle is especially interested in nutrition and oral health care. Michelle grew up in Bobcaygeon and along with her husband Mike have 2 young boys who are surely NHL bound. Apart from spending countless hours in hockey arenas, Michelle likes extreme sports with her dogs like skijoring, bike joring and more recently, dog scootering. (Essentially all these sports involve strapping yourself to your dog(s), going at rapid speeds and trying not to die!)

Mitch started with us as a high school co-op student in September of 2014 and has been with us ever since!

He has become a full time employee and a huge asset to our back office team, assisting with most procedures , processing lab work and making sure everything is stocked, cleaned and organized to perfection.

In his spare time he loves to spend time with his Canine and Equine friends.

Mercedes is our Student Assistant and began working with us in 2017.  Mercedes works primarily as our back office assistant but can be called upon to help where ever she's needed.  She lives in Bobcaygeon with her family and dog, Lilly, and is pursuing a post secondary degree in Bachelor of Science and Biological Science .  When not being a great help to us at the clinic, she fills her time studying, playing sports and enjoys horseback riding.

Darlene and her new family member 'Annie'.  Darlene has been a "receptionist extaordinaire" at Three Islands Vet Services since 1998.  Her compassion and friendly personality make her a client and pet favourite.  She is married to Terry and has 2 grown children.  Darlene and Terry also live with their Boxer Tyson.

Jeannine with her little dog Ali. Jeannine has lived in the Bobcaygeon area for most of her life and she has been a veterinary receptionist since 1991. She has been a part of our team since 2010 and brings a high level of professionalism and knowledge with her. She is also a great back office assistant and can help with pet restraint, lab work and x-rays when called upon.  Jeannine and her husband Phil have 2 boys, Max and Sam who keep them busy outside work hours with lots of sports.

Kim began her Veterinary reception experience in 2007. She grew up in Kawartha Lakes and after a time away in the City decided to come back to the area and joined our team in 2015. She enjoys building relationships with owners and their furry family members. Kim lives in Bobcaygeon with her feisty little dog "Mister".

Katie Joined our team in 2016 with 8 yrs Veterinary reception experience. Originally growing up in Keene, she now lives in Bobcaygeon with her husband Tim, 3 kids and German Shephard dog "Jagger." When not at work, or running to the Lacrosse field with her son Nicholas, Katie enjoys the outdoors and loves hiking in Algonquin Park.

Anne and Bandit.  Anne is our favourite book keeper!  She works quietly away in her office paying our bills and doing payroll and other fun stuff.  Anne lives in Bobcaygeon with her husband Bruce and has 3 grown up (and almost grown up) children.
