Our Staff

Three Islands Veterinary Service - Bobcaygeon, ON - Our practice manager Sheryl

Sheryl with her Viszla ‘Mya’ and her Champion Dobermans Deva and Sam.

Sheryl has been a huge part of the team at Three Islands Veterinary Services since 1996.

She is one of those rare people who can

do almost anything around the hospital from reception to accounting to technician

duties and even computer repair.   Sheryl’s greatest talent is as a dental and

surgical assistant.  She lives with her husband Dave on a Century Farm in Coboconk where they

have Horses, Scottish Hyland Cattle, Chickens and a Donkey. Sheryl enjoys showing her Dobermans competitively in Canada and the US, riding her horses and

also enjoys extreme outdoor sports with her dogs such as biking and skijoring.

Darlene and 'Annie'.  Darlene has been a "receptionist

extaordinaire" at Three Islands Vet Services since 1998.  Her compassion and

friendly personality make her a client and pet favourite.  She and her husband Terry

have 2 grown children & 2 grandchildren.  Darlene and Terry also live with their Boxer Tyson.

Michelle and her Hungarian Vizsla, ‘Crush’. Michelle graduated as a veterinary technician

from St. Lawrence College in 1996. She has been with us at Three Islands Veterinary

Services since 2009 and is very knowledgeable and is talented at what she does. In

addition to lab work, x-rays, IV catheters, surgery assistance and dental hygiene,

Michelle is especially interested in nutrition and oral health care. Michelle grew up in

Bobcaygeon and along with her husband Mike.  They have 2 young boys who are surely NHL

bound. Apart from spending countless hours in hockey arenas, Michelle likes extreme

sports with her dogs like skijoring, bike joring and more recently, dog scootering.

(Essentially all these sports involve strapping yourself to your dog(s), going at rapid

speeds and trying not to die!)

Jeannine with her dog Alli.  Jeannine has lived in the Bobcaygeon area for most of

her life and has been a Veterinary Receptionist for almost 20 years. She has been part

of the Three Islands team since 2010 and brings a high level of professionalism and

knowledge with her. She is also a great veterinary assistant and can help with pet

restraint,  lab work and x-rays when called upon.  Jeannine and her husband Phil

have 2 boys, Max and Sam who keep them busy outside work hours with lots of sports.

Lisa is our newest receptionist, she loves loves working with animals and meeting all the pets at the clinic.  She has a background of protecting animals as an animal cruelty investigator.

Lisa and her husband Dave have 5 children, 3 grandchildren and their dog "Hunter".

Lisa is a huge NFL football fan and loves to travel.  She has hiked in Alaska and the Himalayas to Mt Everest.  She has been to 5 continents and going to the last 2 are definitely on her bucket list.

Anne and Bandit.  Anne is our favorite book keeper!  She works quietly away in her

office paying our bills and taking care of payroll .  Anne lives in Bobcaygeon

with her husband Bruce and has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.

Mitch started with us as a high school co-op student in September of 2014 and has been with us ever since!

sure everything is stocked, cleaned and organized to perfection.

In his spare time he loves to spend time with

his Canine and Equine friends.

Mercedes  is our Student Assistant and began working with us in 2017.  Mercedes works primarily as our back office assistant but can be called upon to help where ever she's needed.  She lives in Bobcaygeon with her family and 2 dogs, Boo and Lilly and is pursuing a post secondary degree in Bachelor of

Science and Biological Science .  When not being a great help to us at the clinic, she fills her time studying, playing sports and enjoys horseback riding.
