Supporting Your Patients. Supporting Your Practice.

At Three Islands Veterinary Services, we are proud to partner with veterinary clinics throughout the region by providing diagnostic services, dental surgery, and chiropractic care for patients requiring additional support.

Our goal is simple: to help you access high-quality diagnostic equipment and complementary services close to home, while ensuring your clients and patients receive compassionate, collaborative care.

We work closely with your veterinary team throughout the referral process and provide timely communication so you can continue managing your patient's ongoing care with confidence.

Diagnostic Services

Diagnostic imaging and cardiac monitoring can provide valuable information to help guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term patient management.

Our team offers modern diagnostic technology that allows referring veterinarians to obtain detailed information without the need for lengthy travel to larger referral centres.

Cardiology Diagnostics

When additional cardiac assessment is needed, we offer advanced monitoring solutions that provide valuable information to support your clinical decision making.

Our cardiology diagnostic services include:

  • Holter Monitor testing for extended ambulatory ECG monitoring

  • CardioPet ECG (IDEXX) for digital electrocardiogram evaluation

These tools can assist in evaluating arrhythmias, investigating syncopal episodes, monitoring treatment response, and providing additional cardiac information for complex medical cases.

Diagnostic Ultrasound

Our SonoScape S9 portable ultrasound system provides high-quality abdominal and soft tissue imaging to assist in the investigation of a wide variety of medical conditions.

Ultrasound examinations can help evaluate:

  • Abdominal organs

  • Gastrointestinal disease

  • Urinary tract conditions

  • Hepatic and splenic abnormalities

  • Reproductive concerns

  • Fluid accumulation and other soft tissue changes

Ultrasound imaging provides valuable real-time information that complements radiographs and laboratory testing, helping clinicians make informed treatment recommendations.

Dental referrals may include:

  • Dental extractions

  • Advanced periodontal disease treatment

  • Oral examinations under general anesthesia

Animal Chiropractic Care

Supporting Comfort, Mobility and Quality of Life

Dr. Kim offers veterinary chiropractic care for patients experiencing mobility concerns, musculoskeletal discomfort, or performance-related issues.

Veterinary chiropractic care focuses on assessing joint mobility and spinal function. Gentle, controlled adjustments are used to help restore normal movement where appropriate, with the goal of improving comfort, flexibility, and overall function.

Chiropractic care may benefit patients experiencing:

  • Arthritis and age-related mobility changes

  • Reduced range of motion

  • Neck or back discomfort

  • Recovery following orthopedic injury or surgery

  • Performance support for active and sporting dogs

  • General mobility and comfort in senior pets

Every patient receives an individual assessment to determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate as part of their overall treatment plan.

Booking Chiropractic Services

Chiropractic appointments are booked directly through our hospital. Referring veterinarians are welcome to recommend chiropractic care, or clients may contact us directly to schedule an appointment.
